BA Parts Releases Industry-Changing Golf Bag Carrier: The BA CaddyRack™

The BA CaddyRack™

Do you use your golf cart on the course and wish it were easier to bring your own clubs? If your cart has a 2-inch hitch receiver, the BA CaddyRack could be one of the most useful upgrades you make.

I’m a golfer, and I design golf cart accessories for a living. The CaddyRack gave me a chance to bring those two things together, and it’s honestly become one of my favorite products I’ve ever developed at BA Parts. I’ve had a blast designing it, testing it, and using it. I think it’s going to change what people expect from a golf bag carrier.

The idea started with a simple question: could we build a hitch-mounted golf bag carrier that made it easier to get to your clubs without making your golf cart harder to use? I wanted something that could carry two bags securely, install and remove without a complicated setup, and store neatly when the round was over. That’s what led to the BA CaddyRack.

A lateral design that makes your clubs easier to reach

The CaddyRack carries two golf bags in a lateral position behind your cart. Instead of stacking the bags where they’re awkward to reach around, the sideways layout gives you direct access to your clubs. Grab the club you need, put it back, and get on with your round.

It sounds like a small detail, but it makes a real difference when you’re golfing. You’re not reaching over the other bag or bumping your clubs together just to find the right one. The CaddyRack keeps both bags right where you want them and makes getting in and out of your bag feel natural.

It’s designed for golfers who want to use their own cart on the course, whether they have a two-plus-two or four-forward cart. The rear seat on a two-plus-two can still be used, and the trunk on a four-forward cart remains accessible. You can bring your bags along without giving up the parts of your cart you still want to use.

The CaddyRack fits a standard 2-inch hitch receiver. If your cart has one, you’re ready to mount it. The carrier is removable, too, so you can slide it out of the receiver when you don’t need it.

Lightweight, solid, and built to be used

A hitch-mounted golf bag carrier needs to feel dependable, but I didn’t want to build a huge, awkward piece of equipment. The CaddyRack weighs approximately 22 pounds, so it’s manageable to handle when you’re putting it on or taking it off the cart, while still giving you a solid steel frame.

We build the CaddyRack in Northwest Ohio using durable materials, a powder-coated finish, and stainless hardware. It’s made to be used—not just to look good in a product photo. I wanted the carrier to feel thoughtfully designed and exceptionally well made, but also simple to use. That balance mattered to me through the whole design process.

Two straps help keep each bag secure

Each golf bag sits in its cradles and is held with an upper and lower 2-inch nylon strap. The two points of retention help keep the bag in place as you drive, while the cradles support it from below. The straps are easy to work with, so securing your bags doesn’t turn into a project every time you head out.

The cradles fold, too. If you’re carrying one bag, you can fold the unused side away. When the round is over, fold the cradles in to make the rack more compact for storage.

The lower cradle can be set up to swivel or fixed in a horizontal position, depending on how you plan to use the CaddyRack. It ships ready to swivel, and we include the extra hardware to secure it horizontally if that better fits your setup.

Folds up and hangs on the wall

I wanted the CaddyRack to be easy to live with when you weren’t golfing. Remove it from the hitch, fold the cradles in, and hang it on the optional CaddyRack Wall Mount. The slide-on, slide-off design gives the carrier a dedicated place in the garage or shop without leaving it sitting on the floor or taking up extra room.

That storage option was part of the idea from the beginning. A golf bag carrier should make it easier to bring your clubs along, but it shouldn’t become a hassle once you get home.

Add a few useful extras

The CaddyRack works on its own, or you can add accessories to make your setup even more useful. The optional dual cupholder keeps two drinks close at hand between the bags. The Ball & Club Washer puts a convenient place to clean your ball or club right on the carrier, at a comfortable height for either golfer. And the Hitch Stabilizer clamps the rack more firmly to the receiver to help reduce movement and rattling.

The Wall Mount is available as well, so you can store the CaddyRack off the cart and out of the way between rounds.

This product has meant a lot to me because I got to work on it as both a golfer and an accessory designer. I wanted to build the kind of golf cart hitch carrier I’d be excited to use myself: easy club access, secure bag retention, a manageable weight, and a smart way to store it when the round is done. I’m proud of how it turned out, and I hope it makes your time on the course that much more enjoyable.
